A quiet rural scene near the Laotian border....
Hidden in the foliage is a SAM unit, part of North Vietnam's forward air defences.
The unit's position has been identified though, and a strike is sent in....
Which is met with heavy opposition, from both the ground and air:

See, the brass just wouldn't believe the SOG teams that they saw that the NVA were moving missiles down the trail along with the armor...
Oh give me a hoooome where the NVA roam, and the air support is stacked up all daaaaaay

Looking forward to the AAR. I really like the top photo. All are excellent, but that one just appeals to me.
