I came across this on Cults3D. It's my favourite aircraft design of the war, so I'm going to have to add this to my project at some point. It's scaled at 1/64 but can be re-scaled to other scales. This guy does nice work. I have his Blackhawk helo model for modern gaming and it's a fine piece of kit.

After telling myself I would never make another Vietnam War aircraft kit, I did buy an Academy 1/72nd Dragonfly kit I found locally some months ago because it is such a cool looking aircraft. I'm still debating whether to do it with the Vietnam War markings supplied or to paint it up as one of the planes the Vietnamese People's Air Force used to bomb the Khmer Rouge when Vietnam invaded Cambodia in 1978. Evil or Very Mad

One of these planes was purchased by an NZ collector off the Vietnamese Air Force:

That is a great looking model. But why is it originally in 1/64 scale?!?!? I just don't understand that.

Yeah me neither. Though, from my Afghan project in 20mm, tons of guys gaming in that scale recommend 1/64 vehicles over 1/72. So maybe it stems from that.

A good printer (person....not machine) can re-size that quite easily.
