Fragments of Memory

This is a documentary broadcast by the Vietnamese TV channel VTV4 in late 2023, about a combined Vietnamese/US effort to search for a mass VC grave site near LZ Bird dug in December 1966:

"We let them celebrate Christmas on the 25th, because that was the human spirit of the NLF"... that was an interesting statement.

That was a well done show, very high production values. I was expecting it to be a bit preachy or more propaganda-ish but i was pleasantly surprised. It was really nice to see both the local families and veterans get some closure and healing.

It was very moving. It's the sort of thing they normally show on the PAVN TV channel, so it was interesting it came from VTV4.
