Australia's Vietnam War Website

I bet most of us has visited the fantastic Texas Tech Vietnam war website at least once, https://www.vietnam.ttu.edu/index.php.

What many of you may not know is that there is a much smaller version related to Australia's involvement in the war as well hosted by the University of New South Wales (UNSW) which also has a sub campus in Canberra specifically for educating our Military officers called the Australian Defence Force Academy (AFDA).  Members of all 3 services, Navy, Army and Air Force who aspire to be officers attend ADFA during normal university semesters but then attend there specific service training in normal university holiday periods.

As part of the UNSW/ADFA association they have a studies portal for the Vietnam War, https://vietnam.unsw.adfa.edu.au/

The battle map at https://vietnam.unsw.adfa.edu.au/battlemap/ is very impressive and it highlights nearly every contact the Australian forces encountered during their Vietnam involvement.

For anyone with an interest of the ANZAC part of the war the website is a must.

I have seen that one but had not had a proper look at the battle map before. There are some curiously positioned outlier dots for various units deployed near the Cambodian border...

Very interesting. I will have to take a better peek later.
