Excellent! I like the helmets, the basing and the patches of the "Westmoreland's Fire Brigade". You painted them or you made your own decals or it is printed on paper?

Hi Richard’
Thank’s for yours return! The 173rd insignias are printed on decal sheet.

Amazing brushwork on those Persel. I agree with you the Force of Arms figures are great! The owner, John Bruce, posts here from time to time.

Great look unit.
I was just talking the other day to a fella that was in The Herd when they were first deployed to III Corps. He talked about how they were armed with M-14s, and he was injured when an M-56 Scorpion flipped over and crashed into his perimeter position during an early morning probe. At that time they still had white name tapes and color patches, like you see in We Were Soldiers...

Thanks Todd but I'm a little disappointed by the lighting of the photo which changes the colors of my painting! I'll take new photos tomorrow in the light of day!

Nice work Persel69. Photography with mini's is so tricky... especially the lighting.

Very, very nice painting. It is amazing that they stand up so well with the photos being so large on the monitor.

Fire at will
Hi friends,
Here are the last John Bruce figures from the Force of arms brand that I just finished painting on this rainy Saturday. As usual I took great pleasure in painting the details of the uniforms and gear of these miniatures with very realistic attitudes. To be continued soon Patton M48 and M 113 from Empress miniatures too bad the molding quality of the vehicles is not as good as that of their miniatures!

Excellent! Very well painted. Rendering is very nice. Do you use a wash technic in your painting sequence?

Thank you for all your compliments which I always receive with pleasure.
Yes Richard I use several washes but not only.
I will try to make you a painting tutorial with the colors I use if you want.
