Who Made This: 20mm PT-76?
I acquired a 20mm PT-76 tank in a trade, probably in late 1985, a multi-part soft metal casting with very nice detail for the time. It would be pretty good by even today's standards. On the underside it has a marking with very small characters that I cannot quite make out in three lines:
First line "PA_TL_N", missing characters look like P or R for the first blank, but a different font from the first two, if so, the last could be an H or R.
Second Line "B__" second character may be a Y, third character may just be a blob in the paint, given the centering of the B.
Third line "LDM" in a small oval inside of a raised rectangle
Can anyone guess who the manufacturer might be or have been?
I have an interest in getting a couple more of them for a scenario, and am curious if they are still available, and to know who might have made it in the first place. I've never measured it, and don't know if is was marketed as 20mm, 1/72, etc., but it looks pretty close to 1/72 scale. It is probably the only miniature that i've ever owned, where I didn't know the manufacturer.
I'd upload a couple of pics, but am having a computer problem at the moment.
Thanks, I greatly appreciate any thoughts regarding this.

Normally i would upload a photo to my blog, then link it to the forum, but blogger isn't working, won't let me upload any photos.

You can upload directly from the pictures on your computer. Very easy. If you hover over the icons for where you type your posting, it is the overlapping bluish rectangles that will say "Host an image."
