Joe Galloway has died
The legendary Joe Galloway has died. At least in my opinion, he was, without a doubt the finest journalist to report on the Vietnam War. He was also a magnificent speaker. YouTube has some videos of him.
Here is a notice about his death:

He was the only civilian in the Vietnam War to be awarded a Bronze Star with V Device.
Another true hero is gone.

I was very sorry to read this. I appreciate all the work he did to make sure the soldiers were never forgotten.

Sad news. I was watching some videos of him several weeks ago.

I haven't heard a thing about this in the news, which is a bit shocking. They will be doing a special ceremony for him out at the Vietnam Museum in Mineral Wells, TX, as he was a big help with fundraising.
Oh give me a hoooome where the NVA roam, and the air support is stacked up all daaaaaay
