This creates what must have been that eerie feeling that
had to come for the men defending Dien Bien Phu. General
Castries, you did an awesome eye popping job. What
scale are the figures? A fellow gamer and I have dreamed
for years about gaming the battle. Have enjoyed your
earlier posts. Again, this is impressive. Would love to see
more. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for your comments. To answer some of the questions, the figures are 28mm, a combination of Empress, Warlord, and kitbashed (by someone far more capable than I). The trench pieces (which I love) are from Ironclad Miniatures.
I've plenty more photos, but I've promised them to Mick Farnworth for his new Vietnam painting guide. But I'll post here any photos he doesn't use.

Very very nice terrain. The parachutes from 1stCorps miniatures are great elements too.
