The Lazy Forger does Vietnam
For those of you who do micro games, you may be familiar with the middle east and modern Asian style buildings in STLs from a bloke called The Lazy Forger. His work is on MyMiniFactory is found here.
Anyway he took my suggestion and did some Vietnam themed buildings. They are scaled at 6mm, 10mm and 15mm. Beyond that the detail isn't so great. My printer friend down in TX is going to do me one of each 6mm and 15mm scale. I may have to re-consider 6mm over 3mm for my Micro Scale Madness project down the road.
Here's some pics of the range so far:

They look good. They would probably be fine in 20 mm - just drybrush the crap out of them.

Re: The Lazy Forger does Vietnam
This is the website my friend down in Converse TX runs and she's going to try and throw the Lazy Forger stuff up there to order (prints not STLs). I told her there may be some folks who might want these in 15mm and 20mm so she's trying to sort out the scaling. You can contact her directly on the site if interested:

Can figures be placed inside?
It does not look like there are any windows.

Yes, slicing the model is what would be needed. In the STL editor of course.

Nice, might need to grab some of these.
I like the look of his shanty town for a District 9 game too.

Re: The Lazy Forger does Vietnam
Tim, let me know via email. I bought the STLs. I'll send em over to you.
Some local gals who do some resin stuff for me for my Pulp/British Horror, sci-fi and Fantasy Japan projects gave a go at doing these in 28mm and they turned out AMAZING!! So, enlarging to 15mm or 20mm should not be an issue at all!

That’s really nice looking. I hope the veranda is wide enough for a figure base.

Oh wow, they do look good.
Thats the benefit of bamboo, it can be as big as you need it.
I have access to a resin printer (Phrozen Mini 4K).

Re: The Lazy Forger does Vietnam
I have some of those, enlarged, as a backdrop for snapping pics of my Fantasy Japan stuff. They're quite nice. But the bases have a stone base. Might not be great for Vietnam.
Probably not. Nor are the interiors playable because they WERE intended for 6mm play. That's fine by me, as I use buildings to play around, not inside. But definitely not suitable for those who play interiors.

I like the exaggerated look on those Lazy Forger models.
That really suits my painting style.
Will definately be grabbing some.

Yeah, the aesthetic really suits my Baker Compay/Full Metal Miniatures style well, plus it has an RPG feel to them. Which, as you know, is right up my alley.

Re: The Lazy Forger does Vietnam
So my test hut arrived sent by the local gals who run Clerics Components and it's WAAAAY small. One thing they didn't realize (and myself too) is they need to be upsized substantially. My friend in TX said she upsizes most stuff for 28mm to 466% at the MINIMUM. Anyway, she's going to do all these for me now sized up 500%.
As you can see from the pic, this chunk of resin is better suited to 20mm.
The aesthetic is exactly what I'm after. Looks like I'll be turning the Chiltern huts into cold hard cash soon-ish. Chris....... need a bigger village???

Re: The Lazy Forger does Vietnam
I think they look alright for 28mm. I prefer my buildings slightly smaller. Especially if they have no inside component.
Personal taste of course. What scale were those done at Todd?
