Vietnam Veterans Sites Empty Vietnam Veterans Sites

Post by Mishima Tue May 10, 2022 6:30 am

Recently been thinking, there is a great selection of material on the web. Some clearly well-funded veteran associations, and some less so, individual veterans pages and memoirs.

As time goes on I worry as veterans pass on whether we will lose a lot of these sites, and should we be looking to archive some of the more useful ones.

https://www.rivervet.com/
http://www.vietvet.org/monitor.htm

Just a few examples... I've posted mainly Riverine sites, as that is my specific interest.

internet Archive does ok, but doesn't save images, which are the bread and butter of our internet searches...

Thoughts anyone.
