Kickstarter: March to Hell Vietnam
Coldm brought this to my attention. A Kickstarter for STL files for their new range "March to Hell: Vietnam". Their cartoony looking figures may not be everyone's cup of tea, but they do remind me of Britannia's 20mm stuff and from the goals they have set out, there's going to be a LOT of stuff. I asked them 6 months ago after I came across their WW2 stuff if they had considered doing Nam and I never got a response. And now I know why.
Here's a link to their KS: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/joinordie/march-to-hell-vietnam

Here's a pic of some prints done in a review. I guess these chaps got a "press kit" ahead of the release and printed out some 28mm US Army samples.

That's a lot of stuff - nice poses on the infantry too.

Re: Kickstarter: March to Hell Vietnam
After careful glancing over the main pledge and stretch goals, it looks like this project is missing something very integral to Nam..... the M79 Blooper. Interesting.

Re: Kickstarter: March to Hell Vietnam
I think the blooper is going to be available as a 'special'. A few backers had raised it in the comments section and the company have listened. Not sure if it will be part of the Kickstarter but other stuff apparently will go straight to the store.

Just double checked.... apparently there will be a pack of 4 M79 US infantrymen as a 'gift' add on, whatever that means!

I have signed up for it, I have a few of the 3DBREED kickstarter's and they are normally good product.
The "gift bloopers" mean they are throwing then in at the end end at no extra cost.

WOW! Looks amazing Coldm! Â I saw the blooper listed as a 4 man gift pack. That's good news!

They look really nice... like the look of the NVA tank riders they have teased too.

I think there's 4kg of resin in each of my Chiltern Nam huts. Poured resin, but resin the same. The box weighs a ton!

Re: Kickstarter: March to Hell Vietnam
So what I thought was "Vietnam Villagers" (a stretch goal) has been unlocked and it turns out it's actually a "Vietnam Village". Which piques my curiousity about what will be contained in that SG. 3DBreed seems to be mum on the subject but it'll be hard to beat those Lazy Forger huts!

Re: Kickstarter: March to Hell Vietnam
Yes, they're cartoony and not to everyone's taste, but they do have a few fans here. I'm assuming the March to Hell ones will be the same..... cartoony to match the vibe of the range.

WIP of my freebie MTH:Nam grunt. Just the base left to do.

Nice work Todd, what colour are you using for the uniform?

Re: Kickstarter: March to Hell Vietnam
I use Vallejo German Fieldgrey as a base. Then Vallejo Russian Uniform Green, then Russian Uniform Green and a bit of GW Ariel Yellow and then finally I add a wee bit of Vallejo Buff into that mix to pick a few highlights out.
