Which ruleset uses less than 40 minis per side?
Hi
we recently played a small game of Charlie don't surf at the club and the players liked it.
They want to play more Vietnam games but I don't have enough infantry right now for a normal game of CDS (100 minis per side).
While I'll be painting more minis I want to keep the guys focused on the Vietnam theme.
Is there a ruleset that would allow a game with less than 40 minis per side?
Thanks
Pascal

There are quite a few rules out there. Are you looking for a game that uses individual soldiers or that is squad stands? Do you want vehicles and helicopters?
Oh give me a hoooome where the NVA roam, and the air support is stacked up all daaaaaay

As we use 28mm mnis I preefer individual soldiers, and yes vehicles and helos are welcome.

Oooh it's doable, just has to be your cup of tea since FNG isn't as straight forward as most games. Plus, being a little crazy helps!BravoSix wrote:So Two Hour Wagames is out, right off the hop!
Anyhoo... the old Charlie Company rules could work, or even the 'Nam port of WH40k. I know there are other skirmish games out there but my brain ain't working at the moment.

You could use Rules of Engagement by Great Escape Games.. its for WW2, but I use it for Vietnam with a tweak or two.

Thanks Goose.
We played this ruleset in the past but it was quickly replaced by Chain of Command.
Chain of Command has a fan made Vietnam version, I might try it.

I found i wound up playing the "rule set" rather than the period, with Chain of command..
