That's sure was a dog & pony show they went through when they arrived in country. Wonder if that was mostly promotion for the news reel or did all NZ units go through that?

Just spotted your reply - this artillery battery was the first NZ combat unit to arrive in South Vietnam, so there was a bit of official hoop-la.
Diligent late-night recon up Saigon back alleys...
