I think I would too, but for different reasons....

Someone needs to review this literary classic for our Intel section - I'm voting for Al, since he has prior background knowledge...

Count me out. Gave it a look at the second hand store and there were no pictures or illustrations in the book.

Re: 8 Villagers to Christmas
I have been busy helping redecorate and get ready for Christmas. So reading is behind. In fact painting is behind. Especially after “communication breakdown” (there a song in there somewhere)
She: “so have you finished that unit yet?”
Me : “ not quite I’m half way that Dutch -Belgian battalion”
Stony silence...
“ I meant the kitchen unit”
Also comments of why do you need so many, I’ve tried explaining that you can’t field Picton division from 1815 against the 1st/9th Cav 1967 but she doesn’t get it.
“Boney don’t surf!!!” Not quite right

I believe I've had similar conversations.

Re: 8 Villagers to Christmas
Well this project was a bust and I'll officially re-name it "6 Villagers to Christmas". I kept busy with other projects over the past while, but frankly I got bored of painting villagers so that ground the whole thing to a halt. For now anyway.

Re: 8 Villagers to Christmas
OR.... make it "8 Villagers to Orthodox Christmas" and then you'll have another week to knock this out!!
P.S. You're doing great of following the Hallmark standard script of making it all look bleak... and then it all suddenly comes together for the big happy ending. Bravo Bravo6!

Oh boy. That was NOT intentional.
