Gringos40 US Army figures

These are the first five figures in a new series in 28mm from Gringos40. Up to now we had US Marines and the bad guys, but the Army was just a dog handler and a couple of MPs for Tet.  The sculpting on these is just amazing

Are these painted by your hand Deadhead? If not, this should probably go in the Gringo 40's release thread in the Intel Center

Yep. Painted them over the last 24 hours. After Napoleonic figures in 1/72, these are dead easy. I posted the photos to Ged, who runs the company. He has them painted professionally also. I do them just for fun and the challenge.

Be honest (twixt you and me) I prefer doing the Free French tanks etc of 2eme DB right now. There, one has the super-detailing challenge. This was just a painting exercise, on figures so well cast that they almost paint themselves. I keep looking at the water bottles and the quality of modelling. Have to be seen to be believed.
