They look great. Don't forget some chickens in some cages on the roof of the bus.

Re: 28mm Civilian vehicles project
Very good choice in the models: That will be great.
Rubicon has very interesting kits.
For my cars for Hue I am still searching for Vietnamese baskets/cages to glue on top of my cars. Impatient to see your findings.

Re: 28mm Civilian vehicles project
Does the car with all the gear on top come like that Chris? Or did you add that yourself?
-Todd
Re: 28mm Civilian vehicles project
The car with the gear on top is from Rubicon Models, you can buy the Citroen on its own and the stowage pack is sold separately. Struggling to find baskets, Crooked Dice Minis do a small selection, I have used several packs to scatter about my Nam village, think the remainder are heading for the truck roof!

Re: 28mm Civilian vehicles project
Ah ok. It reminds me abit of this Refugee Saloon Car from 1st Corps' VBCW Homefront range:
I may need that Rubicon model too. Do you have a direct link?

Re: 28mm Civilian vehicles project
I like the 1st Corps one but I think they are more 1/48? The Rubicon on can be found here.... https://rubiconmodels.co.uk/collections/1-56th-wwii-french/products/282003-citroen-traction-avant-11cv-resin
The accessories are available separately

Re: 28mm Civilian vehicles project
Actually Mark's sculpting for the figures in that range are considerably smaller than the usual 28mm suspects. His figures are more 25mm, so I'm assuming his vehicles are smaller than 1/48.
Thanks for the link!

Re: 28mm Civilian vehicles project
I might have to take a look at the 1st Corp stuff. I have some if their WW1 tanks and they have a lot of character

Re: 28mm Civilian vehicles project
Managed to finish a few of the vehicles, the Taxis are 1/60, so slightly smaller than I would have liked but not too bad when they are based
The Citroen Coke van is a 1/55 repainted diecast
The Lambro is from Thomas and his 3d printing skill have a few more of these I am working on
The bus is another diecast from ebay with a load of generic stowage. Still need to add some more stowage, but nearly complete.

Re: 28mm Civilian vehicles project
Excellent yes. I like the Norev 3 inches taxis. The bus is great and looks really like what we can see on pictures from that time (my source is Flickr and Pinterest for inspiration). You have given these models a real style.
For the Lambretta, I have seen on eBay "Atlas Lambretta 1/43 La Poste" models but cannot find the dimensions. Either for "Altaya tuk tuk 1/43". So 3DPrinting is a good solution.
For original/funny and special stowage, a shop that is closing has interesting bits (toilets, bike, fridge, ...) www.thomarillion.de
