28mm village WIP

Still a lot to do with this. I have used the Sarissa terrain tiles   with a building mounted on each tile so I could use individual buildings or link them together as a village. Still need to add some greenery, livestock and a load of rice barrels.
The budhist temple is from the Empress resin walls and buildings and needs some pots and foliage added.... and I need to source some monks! Stole the idea for the temple from a recent Nam rulebook!

Did you scratch build the huts?

Paul, the quality of the product always helps! The huts are WOW 3d printed with additions like the fencing and porches being scratch made. Still need to build up the courage to add some greenery, shrubs etc.... which is new to me.

Looks great and love how they all piece together.

Heck of a good start, the greenery will make it even more awesome.

I like that temple building, may have to plagiarize that one.

Chris, those turned out fantastic! I like the aesthetic of the huts, but not the biggest fan of WOW's prints. You did a good job of making them look decent though.

Now did you print the building or purchase them?

All purchased .... I wouldn't know where to start if I had to print my own!

The more I look at this the more I want to have a go at making one, it's a great looking piece.
Just wondering did you have to cut any wall sections to make this? Do you have a picture showing it from the other side?

Ash I had to cut a couple of empress walls to make it fit. The walks are pretty easy to cut with a small modelling hack saw. Still trying to pluck up the courage to add foliage!!

So, I'm thinking seven wall sections (counting gated walls as 1), three corner posts and the 'Rustic Building'.
How big is it over all (length/width)?

Its about 22cm × 29cm.... mine is mounted on a 35mm × 35mm piece of 3mm mdf.

Thank you , I was guessing about 9x12", so not far out. Somewhat resuring to know the grey cell is still functioning..!
