The Story of Tran Thi Minh Nguyet
A remarkable article on an elderly street seller who was a member of VC Special Force Team 5: she took part in the bombings of the Caravelle Hotel, Brinks Hotel and the US Embassy, 1964-65:
“You can go and ask the ward police; they know nothing about my story,” Nguyet giggled. “Sometimes they come by to confiscate my cart as part of a campaign to clear the sidewalks.”

Agreed, that was surprisingly interesting. Wasn't shocked that the male members got all of the credit for the operations though. Being able to raise her kids just from selling drinks sounds like an extremely difficult feat.
