PATROL - A Vietnam RPG Empty PATROL - A Vietnam RPG

Doing some research into Palladium's Recon game, I came across another Nam based RPG on Drive Thru RPG called Patrol. There's an interesting review/overview of the game here. Not really the biggest fan of their proposed dice mechanics, but there's some ideas that could definitely be stolen borrowed for other games.

Tom, Patrol is a role playing game. And I'm not sure what the hell Space Nam is, but it says "GURPS" in the title, so it's probably RPG related too.

I believe there was another Nam RPG called "Carry", which focuses on the emotional side of being a grunt. Heard it was interesting, but not the sort of roleplay game I am into.

Yes, I heard about "Carry" as well. Doesn't sound like my cup of tea either. PATROL - A Vietnam RPG 2340259300

I wonder how you accurately portray long stretches of tedium or boredom in which you wish for a little action, then suddenly going to stretches of adrenaline overload in which you wish for a little boredom?
