The DZ Miniatures "Almost Was" Helo Crew
As mentioned in the Mike Owen thread, Richard Deasy (DZ minis) did a "1/48" scale helo crew that never saw the light of day. I had heard they went to Nick at North Star but when I inquired about them some years back, Nick told me they went MIA.
Not the best image but you get the idea.

Looks like someone has an auction currently running for some DZ US figures. Not really great sculpts and poses, and a bit rich for my blood.

It's difficult for me to comment on the quality of the sculpture with just this photo, but the positions of the figurines are good for getting on the choppers!

I do think they'd be too big. They were once marketed as 1:48 scale. Which is on the large side.

Re: The DZ Miniatures "Almost Was" Helo Crew
Hi guys
I just received my last ebay purchase!
The DZ miniature figures have a good carving and a lot of details regarding their equipment.
As for the size of the minis they are giant, I think it's 40mm minimum! (see photo comparison with FOA figures).
Now if you have some at the back of your drawer ... I'm a buyer
