After a longer weekend here is the next Empress miniatures figure finished. it is a NVA soldier throwing a stick grenade. A wonderful sculpt from Paul Hicks, it was a joy to paint.

In 20mm I have only one figure throwing a grenade. He's an old one and I don't know who made him.

Here is a RPG gunner for my NVA force. Nice is that he has a secondary arm sculpted on . This helps with the rules I play ( Danger Close Version 2). You can read more about the rules here:

A NVA regular comrade soldier. This time i put some elephant grass on the base for variation. This works well for a jungle setting but might be a problem later on when I move to games set in Hue.

I don't think it would matter much on the basing in a city environment for most people.  It's a nice touch for sure.
