Fixing 3D Prints Empty Fixing 3D Prints

There have been a number of threads/posts about less than perfect prints that need some TLC before painting.

For what it is worth, what I do is:

1.  Clean them up as best you can
2. Spray them with a "primer filler" usually used in minor repairs on motor vehicles.

Here is a link to the one I use but I am sure there is something similar in your local auto shop.

Primer - Filler

Sometimes you may need two or more thin coats.  The can I use is 400 ml and the current one has lasted me years and at AU$13 a can it is a great cheap recovery method.

You can use it to add texture to buildings as well.

Hope this helps.
