Re: City Street terrain
Other than a few more bits of street clutter just about finished the Hue compound. Nearly finished the rows of shops, just waiting for some telegraph poles to arrive. Hue railway station should be arriving in the next week so should be able to get started on that.... if I can find the room to put it!

Your work is so cool. I love your latest shops. The first sign that caught my eye was for 33 Beer. One of my local Vietnamese restaurants here in Ohio used to have it. But then they could not get it any more.
Your small pieces of rubble are really just the thing. That adds so much.
The railway station is a real monster!!

Re: City Street terrain
You did it!
When I saw this building on historical photographs I though it could be great on a Hue battlefield. It has a aspect that recalls Stalingrad. I suppose it could be great to model railway tracks with rusty wagons like we can see on that picture. Maybe Wickham Trolley ( https://www.flickriver.com/groups/4361757@N24/pool/ ) could be a nice addition too to that building?

Re: City Street terrain
Thanks for all the feedback chaps.
Spookily enough Richard I am just looking at Sarissa railway track and rolling stock. The first image is what I used as a painting guide. It does look like the platform had a roof, which I am still debating adding or not. Concerned it may hide too much of the building detail and make it awkward to place figures if I ever get around to gaming. Never heard of the Wickham trolleys before, might see if they are done in 28mm or if any of the WW2 armoured trains will suffice.

I have looked for Wickham trolleys but have never found any. I actually have some railway track and would love to put one of these into action although it might be a short game....

Re: City Street terrain
Just drive it till you're ambushed or derailed by sabotage. Sounds pretty typical and should give a good game. Or, maybe it's broken down somewhere and troops need to fight their way to it, help fix it and then all fight their way off. That could be bloody...OTB wrote:
