US Airborne figures?
Sure this will have been asked before but.....SWMBO has A) taken a fancy to having a WW2 US Airborne unit and B) very nearly exhausted her pile of shame, so I was wondering how well/badly the Airborne would do as French troops for Indo-China. We're not unduly worried about whether a 28mm figure is holding a M3 or a Mat and happy to get a few 'archetypal' French figures to fill up gaps/ give local flavour. She already has a mass of suitable vehicles - half tracks, shermans, stuarts, trucks etc.
As ever your views would be much appreciated.

Re: US Airborne figures?
Hello,
As far as I know, French Paras were equipped by British and American materials/uniforms so I think US Airborne (specially late) WW2 and why not even British Paras would do the job of representing French soldiers. And if you add all these camo styles in your painting job, I think you will be close to reality.

Re: US Airborne figures?
Much obliged. The intention is to make them up to be suitable for late war US or Indo China....we're not very picky about minor details, but we'd like them to be reasonably convincing....or 'cromulant'....
