South London Warlords "Low Level Hell"
I've been reading the book Low Level Hell by Hugh Miller and it reminded me of the excellent website from back in '98/'99 from the South London Warlords called "Low Level Hell". It was a game modded from Silent Death and featured some great helicopter war eye candy, including an article about building your own hootches. I believe a lot of the figures were from the excellent, now defunct, 20mm Qualiticast range.

Yeah back when I was a 20mm guy when FOF first started, I got pretty excited and inspired by the eye candy there. Still inspiring.

I don't know if such a thing even exists. If it does, it would be a Holy Grail like the figures themselves.

I wonder if that standing gunner is a modified mini. It's pretty dang cool. He'd look awesome standing on the skids of an OH-6.

Re: South London Warlords "Low Level Hell"
I think that is an SHQ figure. Mine are too buried to dig out and check.
Edit: nope, never mind, not SHQ.

Re: South London Warlords "Low Level Hell"
True, Britannia Miniature do seem to be "fell feed".
Top two rows are Britannia Copter Pilots and Gunners.
The bottom row are Qualiticast Copter Pilots.
Sorry about the quality of the pics..overhead light in the Shop/Studio would not come on, and my camera work has never been "the best"
A couple of Britannia Copter Crew "clowning around" in an Matchbox Airboat

Re: South London Warlords "Low Level Hell"
Those are GREAT pics BadMoon. Yeah, I've heard horror stories about trying to cram those well fed buggers into 1/72 kits. In particular, they don't like being inside Loaches for some reason.

Re: South London Warlords "Low Level Hell"
This is off the topic of the question, but SHQ fit 1/72 aircraft very well. All of the crew and passengers on my helicopters are SHQ.
