More of Ugly Fat Bloke's Stuff
Since Chris isn't able to access the forums yet, he asked if I could post some AAR photos of his assualt landing game. Once he comes back, he can flush out the details, but he did say:

I love the surfer too. Not sure where he's from. Doesn't look familiar.

Those dice rock. Like there's a combat photographer in there too.

Re: More of Ugly Fat Bloke's Stuff
Very little of that is mine; all the US stuff is Pat's. I waited 40-odd years to do Nam with every intention that I would have the US...as soon as the first batch of stuff was acquired Pat 'seized the initiative' and annexed the US. The ships are from Merrimac Miniatures , but I think you can now get them from Grand Manner ...as long as you can get a good price on selling your children - they are £90 each which is about US$ 110. I can't recall where the surfer came from but I'll ask Pat.

Nice to see you back, Chris.
I think whoever did the surfer did a Duvall/Kilgore figure as well, but I may be wrong.

No, you are quite right; he often appears as a company commander in our games - I'll try and find a pic.

Re: More of Ugly Fat Bloke's Stuff
The pics are from 2 separate games - a landing from the boars and an air cavalry raid. The former went very badly for my VC, the latter rather better. We are in he middle of a Normandy series just now, bu I suspect we'll be back to Vietnam next week.
