It's topic of garryowen on bunker 051 that make me think of that.
I made a french fort for a night attack game . Picture of the real one is in the book

The pictures below when it was a wip.
There's some differences and I change the roof of the house ,like that I can use it like a lone tower

That's very cool. I remember reading about a bunch of these little French forts in one of Bernard Fall's books. Would definitely make for some interesting scenarios.

For the larger forts, the French used to paint the name of the location in large letters on the fort's roof. For smaller forts (PKs or "Post Kilometre"), the distance from the nearest town was painted on the roof. The idea was to help French pilots with their navigation.
Set out below is a 1/72 scale PK I had made made up a few years ago.

IN both cases these are very cool. What scale is the fort you built, Redfox?

Read the AAR. Photos and the report were great. I'm looking forward to the next one.

I will certainly read the AAR later, but love the effects you added to these pictures.

These are great. I remember on the old site, one of the members posted a link that had drawings and plans of forts by year and type. I downloaded and copied it. Incredible info and great detail. I don't remember who it was, but they still have my greatest thanks!
