Lovely kit... looking forward to seeing what you do with that.

Re: 28mm Empress USMC ANZAC ARVN
Going by the look of the pictures I've found in online image searches, anything from a dark green (Marine tanks colour) through to a fadded olive drab, looks the part. I'll probably start with a couple of coats of Vallejo 'Nato Green' primer over a coat of Black primer. Then make it up as I go from there...

Re: 28mm Empress USMC ANZAC ARVN
Got a bit more done, pilot/driver bloke glued in, swapped one of the M60s for the Mk18 Mod0 from the PBR (may need to adjust the operator's hands a bit.
Painting the SEALs to match the first set, 'blue jeans' are bit more blue this time...
Think I'm done with the SEAL crew, will touch up the guns once they are installed on the LSSC, as I'll probably knock off some paint en route...

Ash,
the mortar team and pit were a work of art and the paint work
on the corpsmen and casualties sure did them justice. The closeups of the seals in the boat sure did show up just how
detailed your work has been. Wow!

Re: 28mm Empress USMC ANZAC ARVN
Cheers guys, I also picked up the pack with the .50cal and the bloke with the night sight.

Thanks very much Sam.
I think the SEAL LSSC is worth getting even if you don't need a boat, just for the figures, they have some great leg positions.
I had a go at some conversions, mainly just swaped the arms around to hold diferent weapons, ment I had to try and make some rather dodgy looking hands.

Hi Ash,
The Ma Deuce group is dynamite. I have to admit your
bunkers and trenches just about gave me a cold chill!
All your field fortifications are great depictions.
Again, wonderful work.

Re: 28mm Empress USMC ANZAC ARVN
Had a go at some huts, made from cheapo bamboo place mats, kebab skewers, teddy bear fur, China's finest plastic plants etc
Here's some close up pics:
This stuff was new for me, Coconut fibre. Found a vid on Youtube for 'making bushes', chap used coconut fibre, spray glue & flock. I had a rummage in the box of stored crap and found a sheet of 'rubberised horse-hair' (must have been there at least a decade); not sure why it has that name as I doubt any horses were involved in its production. Looks to me to be coconut fibre sprayed with latex. Anyway tear bits off, spray with glue, sprinkle flock - job done.
