Re: 28mm Empress NVA
Thanks Todd.
I ended up with doubles of packs 8 & 10, used some for convertions in a 'Bush Wars' project, and some of the doubles I had I thought would work for spider holes.

Re: 28mm Empress NVA
Those spider hole figures worked out well! I think Paul@Empress did something similar.

Re: 28mm Empress NVA
Here's the last of my NVA so far.
12.7mm
NVA12
Gave the third figure a flag.
NVA13
Used the Viet Minh MMG as well, fits in rather nicely with the NVA range.
Lastly the command pack.

Re: 28mm Empress NVA
Got hold of some of the armed civilians, the one on the left needs some prodding but the other three are done.

Cheers Sparrow; I also think Empress are superb, and not just their models...
Not sure why I keep getting asked by the same people (either here, on LAF & FB) if I've seen another range's 'swathe' of advertising posts.

I'm pretty sure most wargamers/painters/collectors interested in the Vietnam War at this scale must by now be aware of the ranges available.
What is a shame, is that these types of query are always accompanied by the same sort of negative comment with regard to the posters opinion on Empress Miniatures.
I think its fairly clear, from my previous forum posts, both here, elsewhere and on FB, that I rather like Empress Miniatures.
I like their balance of professionalism & familiarity when it comes to their customers; I like their ranges of time periods covered, I like the figures they produce, I like the work of the sculptors, & habitually hunt for their previous creations (a hobby in itself...).
Could call me a bit of an Empress miniatures fan ...

Re: 28mm Empress NVA
Keep forgetting that I have other threads, as everything usually ends up in the US Marines thread.
Added the 60mm Mortars from the French Indo China range.

Re: 28mm Empress NVA
Tried to post on these a few moments ago and got an error message. Ash, these NVA are magnificent. My first thoughts
were a sapper platoon. The spider holes are almost too real.
These, like many of your others are almost too good to game
with. but if I had your talent and skill, they would be on the
table almost before the paint dried! Beautiful work. Also,
the little 60mm mortar saw a lot of use by the Corps in '68.
Was the company and sometimes platoon artillery.
These guys are almost too real.

Hi Sam, thanks for the feedback.
Thought it was about time for a group shot.
Sorry to hear you've been below par, hope you're on the mend.
