20mm mystery figures
Can anyone identify the manufacturer of these figures? They may even be home castings... I got them as part of a job lot from a Fields of Fire Reloaded member back in 2013. They look like they're ARVN but they could be US.
Most of them are broken - I'm contemplating whether to fix them up and base them semi-hidden in bunkers and/or slit trenches.

Re: 20mm mystery figures
That's what I "thought" but air bubbles knows.
I had a few at one time, but I have never been big on prone figures except LMG crews when I have walking ones to substitute when appropriate. But your idea, OTB, sounds good. Can't use them to be marching down the road.

Re: 20mm mystery figures
Thanks guys. Another possibility is using them as markers to indicate that stands are lying down, as Crossfire has provision for doing that.

Re: 20mm mystery figures
I think the last prone one is from the modern british with LSW , ( the prone firing figure with rifle above that might also be from the modern brit range ) but yes the others are pretty much all 100% vietnam.
Remember when these figs came out about 1983 ish , they were the cutting edge of wargames figures !!!
prone figures much like grenade throwers are the bane of figure makers lives , the vast majority don't want them ... but there are a few people that REALLY love them .

I must admit that I was less than impressed when I found them in the bottom of the box.

Re: 20mm mystery figures
I do like to have prone figures, if I can. Not a necessity, but there was a time when I did have prone, crouch, standing and running poses for 5 characters for an RPG back in the day... (previous to that we used GI Joes for playing the RECON RPG!)
Oh give me a hoooome where the NVA roam, and the air support is stacked up all daaaaaay
