Best 20mm Scale 105mm M101A1/M2A1 Howitzer Miniature

Who makes the best (casting quality and detail) 20mm scale 105mm M101A1/M2A1 howitzer?

I'm looking for metal or resin cast without a base. Plastic kits will probably be too light; I like a little heft to the miniature.

That's a good question. I DO remember RAFM/Charlie Company having one WAY back, but the Charlie Company stuff was true 20mm and very small/dainty.

Thus far, I haven't found a lot of options in most Vietnam lines, but for WWII East Front minis has a M101A1, Empress has an M2, and S&S has a M2A1. The Empress and S&S models look pretty nice, and the East front model looks decent if maybe a touch less detailed, but runs close to half he price of the others.

Guessing that I'm missing some, but will continue to search.

Sometimes, fudging the technical details in favor of cost, is allowed.

I'm still using my Roco-Minitanks M101s from the 1980s. 1/87 scale but they look fine with my 20 mm figures.

I had a Roco Minis M48 we used with Platoon 20. Platoon 20 was always bigger than well.... anything really. But I had NO CLUE about scale really. We were using a 1/100 scale chopper for god sakes!

It's just what you have available. It's still the same with those oddly-scaled metal figures these days.
