NVA armored vehicles
For some years I have had a very few Britannia 20mm armored vehicles for 1972 scenarios from the Easter Offensive. Not too long ago I bought some more so that now I have three T-54s, two PT-76s and one T-34/85. Quite recently I added two more T-34/85s I bought from George Guerrio for the princely sum of $5.00 each. the last two have not been painted yet.
Here is a photo of the first six.

Yep! That's my plan. I have been making LAWs (pretty simple in 20mm) and hanging them on my ARVN Airborne figures. I have a bunch of Old Glory 15mm Peiking ruins that I think will work for 20mm ruins in An Loc or elsewhere. Still have to paint them.

Sounds good - coincidentally, recently I have been thinking of revisiting the battle of An Loc too now I am painting up more ARVN figures with LAWs.

Bring them over for a game some night, OTB.
Nonsense. But it would be fun.

Re: Latest Vehicle Received
Richard, any chance you can post a pic of the truck with a Baker Company figure beside it?

Re: Latest Vehicle Received
Thanks Richard. It actually looks pretty good. I'm not a rivet counter, so if it looks close enough then....

Re: Latest Vehicle Received
Scales a slippery slope. I find alot of people are calling things 1/64 scale these days. I use Matchbox vehicles for my 15mm moderns and I'm surprised by the number of people on eBay labelling Matchbox as "1/64". They are NOT 1/64 scale. These trucks Richard post also don't like anything close to 1/64 scale.

Re: Latest Vehicle Received
Matchbox vehicles are truly "box scale", they are designed and scaled to fit in the packaging, regardless if its a box, blister card etc. A Matchbox Semi truck will be smaller in scale than a compact car, even though the are the same size in "box scale". On some Matchbox vehicles (but not all), the actual scale of the vehicle is printed/embossed/molded on the bottom of the vehicle. I use some Matchbox and Diecast trucks with my 15mm's but to my eye, Matchbox passenger cars looks way to big. When it comes down to it, if it looks right to you, use it. Perception is the key....

Re: Latest Vehicle Received
Agreed Paul. I mainly use trucks and military vehicles from Matchbox. Case in point, I was looking for a modern HEMMT cargo truck but no one makes one in 1/100 or 15mm. But then I found a Matchbox Jurassic Park flatbed truck, threw a Unimog cargo cover on it, and compared to Peter Pig 15mm, it looks good IMHO.

Re: Latest Vehicle Received
Yeah those will do. I have some West Wind truck sitters and some drivers and they're more on the 25mm scale side of things, so perhaps they'll look right.
