So this was a custom, mild raging river for my Mountain Man project which I received recently. I'm sure I can find some use for it in Nam. Maybe.

Anyway, it was made by a guy on Etsy who's agreed to try his hand at Rice Paddies next. This piece was made to suit my Kill Team size mat (22x30).

That looks really good.

That river scene is great, but it seems stagnant water. I always had the idea you should show some white "surf" one side of anything that breaks the surface. A tiny addition would bring it to life. But it is great as it is!

It looks like the mountain rivers we have in NZ: quite often the water is deep flowing so there is not much surface turbulence.
