Barrage Miniatures and some new-ish boats
I don't know if anyone's seen these yet, but Barrage Miniatures has added some new boats to their already great stable of Nam era boats including an LSSC. I believe their usual scale is 1/56th, but I see one of the boats is also available in 1/72 as well.

Clara from Barrage Miniatures just emailed me to ask if I'd put up a link to their modular terrain Kickstarter. So here it is: Barrage Terrain Kickstarter

Nice looking boats, the LSSC is particularly tasty.

All of it looks good. It is too bad the EU doesn’t have small packet air mail. The shipping is really out of sight. I don’t understand why the UK and the US have small packet air mail and continental Europe does not.

I agree Tom. Plus it comes from Spain and over the past year, all my packets from Spanish sellers have taken 3 to 4 months to arrive, when UK stuff arrives within a month. Boggles the mind.

Tell me about it. You would almost think we lived in the 21st Century. But no, posting anything is still an absolute nightmare, greatly worsened between UK and Mainland Europe by you know what ballot, that must not be named. Even then, try shipping a pair of Altama boots from US to UK. I did it twice. You pay US tax. You pay for shipping. UK charges for import duty, but our postal service will not deliver therefore. So they hold it for payment, but add their own handling charge. Where I live there are more sheep than humans, so I drive 25 minutes to collect my boots (x2 occasions). Not quite doubled the cost to a US citizen. But next time I can cross the Pond, I buy my boots and wear them back as I enter the UK. "New boots sir?"...."Naw"

Sadly, being in Canada, I've found that ordering from the UK is lightning fast compared to the US. I saw a package traced from Texas that went all the way down to Miami, then back up the Global Shipping outlet in the Lexington KY, then to Toronto Canada then to me in Vancouver. What the ?
