Re: Urban Game in down town Vietnam.
They are all great buildings, but, for me, the last one, the "simple" farm shop is the best.....simply brilliant.

Re: Urban Game in down town Vietnam.
Nothing would get me into the Blue Angel Bar....nothing.
The civilian figures are a great addition now and I am sure they are all completely trustworthy and loyal to the Saigon govt.
So many details to highlight e.g. the walled compounds, the burnt out car, but mine is still the store front. Love that.
Dumb q. What is the tracked vehicle you have shown?

Re: Urban Game in down town Vietnam.
Its an Otter. Unique to the USMC and similar to the M113 although not as well armoured and used as a logistical support vehicle in the front line. However on a few occasions did get used in a combat role.
It was, as the name suggests, amphibious so useful across paddy fields.
Plus it is totally cute.

Re: Urban Game in down town Vietnam.
There is now a dedicated facebook page to the new Vietnam rules BOHICA that are due to be released in a week or two.

Re: Urban Game in down town Vietnam.
Thanks for the Otter info.
I immediately Googled that as it was totally unknown to me. I see Empress do a resin and metal model which will have great novelty value.
I'll bet fielding a few of those will puzzle more than just me!

Re: Urban Game in down town Vietnam.
Well indeed. Great work.
I doubt many would take the commercial risk to produce what is an obscure, but therefore unique and highly distinctive, vehicle. Casting the suspension and tracks, in what I assume is one piece, cannot have been easy.

Re: Urban Game in down town Vietnam.
Very nice layout.
I also own those type of tile walls that I use for Spanish Napy or WW2 in Italia.
I see that they work well in a Vietnam city environment.
Thanks for the tip.

Empress have never gone for commercially safe. We feel it is a betrayal to customers who buy into our ranges. If you look at the Empress Vietnam vehicles range it pretty much covers most vehicles and is still growing. It all takes a lot of time and of course money. But that's what we are here to do.
