I tried out my newly-written diceless rules for the first time today.

It was a small game with two ARVN squads and a Walker Bulldog entering a ville.

The rules involve each player using a pack or cards instead of dice, and are designed for fast play.

I had somehow missed this. Interesting mechanics. I like that troops have "hit points". I'm guessing their abilities degrade as they take wounds?
A figure fires until either there are no more targets or he misses (whichever comes first)?

Yes, they become immobilised and less able to respond to enemy action with each wound.

I have included a medic rule now so that each unit has a designated guy who can fix up light wounds and included casualty removal from zones of fire to an aid station.

I still have to develop specific rules for medevac and resupply helicopters.
