(ARCHIVES) Capt. Willard's 28mm Figure Comparisons
One of our original members and later Moderator, Capt. Willard, posted these figure comparison pics ages ago. It shows how the 28mm figures (at the time) size up together.
CW was a great painter and prolific poster. Sadly we lost touch and last I saw he was neck deep into Flames of War 15mm and 28mm Roman gaming.

When I saw that post, I thought CPT Willard was back. Phooey, he's not.

I don't even know how to get a hold of him if I wanted. He had a website Andrew J Thompson, but now that's no where to be found. Would really like to know what he's up to these days.

I haven’t been in touch with him for years. A real shame as he was a prolific Wargamer.
Loved his ‘nam project.

Re: (ARCHIVES) Capt. Willard's 28mm Figure Comparisons
I did some internet detective work using The Wayback Machine and found a 2009 version of his website. Currently it's being used for a business, so I don't think that's him, just someone with that domain. The old site had all the pics come up broken but I was able to find his email address in the code. Shot him an email. Hope he replies.

I heard from Andrew. He hasn't done Nam in a while, but he HAS been eyeing the Empress ARVN so maybe there's hope. I invited him back here, for no other reason than the comradery, but we'll see. He says hello to those from back in FOF's early days. He closed his website as the hosting costs weren't warranting all the effort.
Like most of us gamers, he's busy with other projects and games.
