Rubicon Willy's Jeep
Does anyone know how the Rubicon Willy's Jeep kit sizes up with the chunky Baker Company figures? I'm thinking at 1/56th might be too small.
Asking because Honorable Lead Boiler Suit makes a nice command jeep kit I think could work well for a gun jeep.

1/56 will be too small. Empress sell a 1/50 scale version that's 1/50 scale. That's got more chance of working. Or look for a 1/48 scale model kit.
Worth noting is that JEEPS were not really used in the US part of the Vietnam war. ARVN were issued with the later version which is different from the WW2 version.

Yeah I was thinking that. I'd be eyeballing the Hobbyboss diecast for a while. And Black Dog does some great detail kits.

Those who know me well, know I don't really give too much of a about strict historical accuracy. Or else I wouldn't consider 1st Corps Home Guard on Rollerskates.

You could buy the Empress Mutt or Mighty Mite as they are 1/50 and so a larger scale. I will remove the driver from the pack for no extra charge

Re: Rubicon Willy's Jeep
Yes thats the version made in the 1950's that has a different look to the WW2 version that's lower in profile.

I always thought it looked easy to turn over going round a corner. Probably why the ARVN got them.

Oh that sounds tempting. Do you also have waterfront property I may be interested in?
