(PREVIEW) Empress Miniatures 28mm MUTT Jeep
For those of you who post over at the Lead Adventure Forum, you've no doubt seen this there. I figured I'd feature it here as well as it's a pretty amazing looking kit. Still yet to be released and is in the queue at the moment due to the pandemic. Crews are to follow. I'll probably just use my Baker Company driver and passenger as they're looking for a ride.

Empress have been on fire. They previewed another 4 or 5 ANZAC packs a month or so back, and I'm so eager for their release.
The work Rich has been doing on the Empress vehicle range is amazing too.

Agreed! They've revived Vietnam as an interest period for many and brought new folks into the fold. Top job Empress!

I bought some of their Zulus when they first started and they were great!

I must stress that the model shown is a pre release master that is far from finished. Its uesed to check detail/ quality and also make sure the crew fit etc. It will be used for a number of variations including Military Police.
My favourite is the Mighty Mite, which is also done.

You don't have to switch, you can own multiple.
I have 10mm (pendraken), 20mm (britannia) and 28mm (empress) now

Indeed - especially civilians. We struggled to find any suitable 'urban' civvies for our big Hue game last year.

Hard no on the multiple scales.
I did that for WW2 and only use one scale. I've been slowly thinning out scales and periods I don't use.

I almost regret the cat that we have as many vehicles as we could ever need.

@Paul is there an ETA on the release of this jeep? I'm wondering if I can make the group build.

How'd you like the 10mm Vietnam stuff? I've been tempted several times to get some to have larger scale battles.
I have some of their Fantasy and War of Spanish Succession stuff, so I'm already familiar with 10mm.

Apparently the release date is in about a month, so as far as the group build goes.... I'm out.
