Hi all, shooter here, i was over on the old forum but really do not contribute much as i do not seem to absorb information to pass on. I do build my own interpretation of the terrain and jimmy is my main supplier of goods in 15mm. Have been a big user of facebook with build logs etc on my own page. Look forward to seeing all the great tables and figures.. also need to learn how to post photos as i currently do not have a host etc to get them from

Last time we had a chat was in a tent at Partizan, so quite some time ago. I’d picked up some of your lovely ANZAC figures and oddly enough I’ve got one started at the moment.

Did you keep the moulds for the ‘nam stuff? Glad I grabbed the Aussies when I did. Would’ve still loved to see some SAS from the range though.

TailEndCharles (formerly TailEndCharlie) back in country, the R&R was good but nothing like being in country with the brothers and sisters!

It is kind of cool is n't it.....a bit weird considering that (mostly at least) we've never actually met one another, but nice all the same.

just stepped back in for Friday night drinks ! ,.. is great to see so many old callsigns here and plenty of new ones .
I'm buying drinks for the evening !! ... and here to trade tall stories of derring-do , eventually to degenerate into salty sea shanties .

Cold beer for the Aussies, Yanks and Canucks !, warm beer for the Brits ! , Pernod for the Frenchmen ! , and Schnapps for the rest !

Tonight we had Hue style beef stew and had to have San Miguel with it instead of 33.....it's a tough life. The stew was damned good though I say it myself.

First world problems.

San Miguel is pretty good too. Never had 33. Called around to all the usual suspects here in Vancouver and no one carries it. I'll have to ask my buddy back East. Last year for my birthday he sent me a 6 pack of Monty Python's Holy GrAle in bottles no less, and it arrived safe, sound and unbroken.
