Re: Empress Miniatures 28mm new releases.
Last release today are the sets of crews. These crews are specifically designed to fit their parent vehicle, either the Ford Mutt or the Mighty Mite.
However they can also be used with each other . Plus they can also be used with other vehicles.
Each open handed figure also has a spare weapon that can be attached. The they are all useful to fit as tank rider, or in the Otter, or as helicopter pilots. Perfect for fitting onto or into all sorts of places. Even as figures on the table just taking a rest perhaps.
See the pictures for some suggestions, ideas and inspiration.

Oh nice! Lovely stuff Paul. I will definitely be adding some of your vehicles to my collection in the near future.

Re: Empress Miniatures 28mm new releases.
Not sure if anyone reads this thread but here goes
USMC Mule vehicle with 106mm Recoiles Rifle.
The vehicle comes with three crew. The driver and two gun operators.
It also comes with a separate gun on its ground mount so that the crew can be used for either.
Also in the pack is some stowage and spare rockets for each type of ammunition. HE and Flechette.
28mm - 1/50 scale

This thread gets read quite a bit Paul, rest assured! Empress has many fans on FOF. Maybe those fans don't always comment, because they're busy trying to figure out how to approach their bank managers for the money to afford all the new toys. (LAF joke).
As I said over at LAF, the pilots look AMAZING and the pending door gunners do as well. Looking forward to seeing their release!
I think this is the first time I've seen a mule in 28mm for Nam. I do remember seeing a few in 1/72 ages ago.

I'm definitely drooling over this thread. What scale Huey's are you using to go with your door gunners in the picture?

Re: Empress Miniatures 28mm new releases.
I think I recognize those as Corgi UH-1Bs. So..... 1/43 scale?

Just began to wonder as we have stuck to the rules of only posting new items in here but other releases are posted in the 'main' rooms so wondered if anyone actually looked in here. Glad you do
The chopppers are 1/50 scale Corgi diecasts.

Thank you! I was wondering. They scale in pretty well in your pictures. I'll probably end up getting some 1:48 model kits mostly due to availability.

I think those posts are posted by gamers, not manufacturers. There's no rules about forum members posting news or what's coming.

Re: Empress Miniatures 28mm new releases.
I’m reading it Paul, even though I’m in Wyoming and it’s not my scale of figures.
As always, great looking stuff and lots of it.
