These are smashing reads thanks. Will come back with better critique after mince pies have settled a bit.

Re: Native/Colonial infantry units 1945.
To keep info going as I understand it 5e RIC had an unusual OB; comprising 1er SASB a Naval para and infantry BN, sometime called Commando Ponchardier (the CO) which I have OB for somewhere. The two para coy where organised on US Para lines and the Commando Coys where like British Commando Troops.
When deployed to Indochine they were split up, operating in Annam, Cochinchina and Cambodia.
There were a number of other parachute elements belonging to Force 136 operating like Jedburgh teams in Laos and Annam.

Thanks air bubbles.
I've seen the top photo in French book 'Autos sous l'uniforme' (to abbreviate).
It is quite interesting too. Since I assume the Thai ones were captured in 40/41. The top photo is allegedly in Cambodia in 1945. Also last French mobile formation, created just prior to Japanese coup had 8/12 UEs listed. This means at least 13/17 were shipped, possibly not all at same time.

Re: Native/Colonial infantry units 1945.
So with this info we're getting a reasonable picture. The 1919 local forces info - in photo clip - has a much higher ratio of MG section to rifle companies (1.5:1) compared to WW2 (2.25:1). However the Tirailleur info I believe relates to 9e/11e RIC, possibly also 10e and 16e RIC.
VERY INTERESTING is the Bolt Action link which explains those Renault UE with MG casement. Additionally introduces 4 modified Panhard 178 AMD.
THANKS.
Will outline view in next post Tirailleur Indochinois OB which is a bit clearer now.
